The power of the headline not only helps the one receiving the message but is also powerfully helpful to the one preparing the message.

I find it easier to prepare impactful presentations and documents when I force myself to ask questions like, "What am I really saying here?" or "What does this mean to my reader and I?"

Headlines give the needed focus to make a point and support that point with helpful and pertinent facts that will help the one reader or listener come to the same conclusions I have.

Headlines help me help them connect the dots. Headlines assist me in drawing the picture the dots, when connected, paint!
